2013 Lexus ES 350 review

Both front-wheel drive and a automatic transmission are standard.

The continues the ES 350’s good but the trunk opening is tight so be to test your big cooler or set to make sure it fits.

WES RAYNAL: This 2013 ES 350 is a very pleasant car to drive, at a more than fair in my opinion. Is it the most exciting luxury car? The most Engaging? Certainly not. But is it ever competent.

You might hear that a lot from me when describing car, which I found capable both on the highway and town. It’s quiet in the as I would have expected, and comfortable. The V6’s power and are more than up to the job.

The is tuned to soft/luxury, and here is the enthusiast driver might some beefs. Lexus oodles of time (and no yen) getting every vibration out of the driving experience, and it — this is one smooth Off the line, the car isn’t exactly a but it’s competent, and there’s torque steer. The car might be a bit too well behaved.

The interior is a huge step from the old ES. I submit. It looks, and is, and solid. The materials also and feel first rate. The knob/mouse/whatever to adjust things on the screen takes a bit of getting to, but overall this is a nice to spend time.

Combine all that with the Lexus dealer experience in my opinion, this car will to a lot of people.

EXECUTIVE EDITOR BOB I am in total agreement with Mr. on this one. This car is competent, clearly luxurious, as a church mouse, refined and as a sewing machine, and precise as a pointer. It is not, however, a car evokes much passion but in this case, that’s not a just an enthusiast observation. is a really good car for the money.

I did find the Lexus version of the controller a little hyperactive, but not that one couldn’t learn to All the systems seem to work together.

If I had to point out one positive, the stellar powertrain, it’d be the Lexus has done on this Everything looks and feels top not just upgraded slightly a Toyota sibling. If there’s a it might be that there’s a too much cushion built the seats, so they feel too when I’d like a more bolster to hold me in And the trunk opening is tight be sure to test your cooler or suitcase on that before you buy.
