Is It Possible to Import a JDM MKIV Supra Turbo to the US?

I just this email question I was wondering if importing an JDM Mk4 Toyota turbo would be possible to the US.

The thing I assume when says import, is that want to legally import and be to drive a car. Anything can be imported. but has to be exported within a amount of time.

Toyota Supra II though that PDF, no the Supra is not on the list. Of particular for something like a JDM Toyota is that the vehicle is right drive(RHD).

All eligibility numbers are for left-hand motor vehicles except the initials RHD, signifying drive, appear in the model column. While there is no restriction on importing a right-hand vehicle, these may not be imported eligibility decisions based on the of substantially similar U.S.-certified drive vehicles. Our experience has that the safety performance of drive vehicles is not necessarily the as that of apparently similar drive vehicles offered for in this country. However, we consider the vehicles substantially if the manufacturer advises us that the drive vehicle would the same as the U.S.-certified left-hand vehicle in dynamic crash Absent such a showing, the RI have to demonstrate (through a that the vehicle, when would comply with all Federal motor vehicle standards, including those for dynamic crash testing is That more or less that you may need to crash a right hand drive Unless Toyota says the hand drive car and left drive car would preform the in

crash tests, they want an RI to do their own dynamic Toyota has nothing to win, to lose on a statement like So its unlikely of them agreeing the statement.
