Subaru’s upcoming new Trezia: a Ractis / Verso S twin?

Toyota and semi-affiliate Subaru are for the dichotomy between their model lineups and the significantly model range offered in the Domestic Market. Insofar as their current export are the stalwart and familiar all-wheel-drive, Impreza (including WRX and STI performance Forester, Legacy (and its derivative) and Tribeca lines. Japan, though (as well as in a of European and Asian markets), kei microcars and A and B-segment small as often as not front-wheel-drive and powered by engines, also bear the constellation badge on their Alas, that badge is only claim to quirky for the current line of sub-Impreza are rebadged products from and its majority-owned Daihatsu affiliate.

with a EURO-Suspension, Aluminium Disk brakes and a – gasp! – Cutter (presumably polished tips).

What little we see of the Trezia’s however, gives us a strong of déjà vu . and with good we have strong reason to that this newest is nothing more than a 2nd-generation Toyota Ractis. a that will, for the first also be sold in Europe as the Verso-S. A derivative of the Toyota NBC platform, the Verso-S competes other European B-segment such as the Opel Meriva, Idea, Renault Modus and Note. The resemblance between the Trezia, as shown above, and the Verso-S, shown below, pretty obvious…
