A imagination can do wonders. You could be a bite at McDonald’s right in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden (corner of Bukit Bintang and Ismail) and yet think you’re in Shinjuku district. Pardon me for the in the title of this blogpost but deliberate.


Why? you may ask. Admittedly, my initial enthusiasm was upon picking up this tester from Perodua. that soon changed as I got by the travel bug soon thereafter. with 3 adults, one almost-… and three kids, we soon up to Cameron Highlands. On the following back through to Ipoh and to KL. The 3SZ-VE doesn’t disappoint, adequately responsive with an paired 4A/T, which in decent tractability and driveability. On the the naturally aspirated 4-pot lump were often thrumming a little too loud somewhat hoarse — as you near 6000rpm for that extra top-end grunt. In all, there isn’t to complain about the Alza, for maybe absence of 2nd row a/c vents. A in the 2nd row was complaining of getting hot and bothered with the a/c blower set to fan speed #3 an afternoon drive. A full to #4 did cure things but it was a hurricane for occupants up front! I was getting a bit and bogged down with so of TURBULENT cold air enveloping my and temple, even with the angled upwards and away.

Could Perodua please add a 2nd mounted blower for the 2nd row? at it, can the 3rd row of seat backrest be spilt a 50:50 fold down to 2+3+1 seating with a more luggage hoarding

Back to the climatic indices of comfort, I am sure there is cold air-conditioner gasses for a 2nd auxiliary cooler coil. that, no imagination will be to execute cooling comfort for 2nd and 3rd row passengers. Not even Toyota, at this very moment to be a goliath of an automotive company with its tagline Moving Non Stop!.
