Our ‘new’ Cruiser

My affection for the 70 Series Cruiser has been well on ExPo, a vehicle I consider to be one of the overland platforms ever In late 2011, our team searching for a 70 series that serve as a personnel hauler and vehicle to augment our staff There are a few challenges in doing principally the rarity of these in the US.  The other challenge is the model line-up that 25+ years and dozens of models.  We are using two 78s for an around-the-world expedition, but I something slightly more for daily transport.  This led our to the first generation Prado Cruiser, which was based on the 70 series and HiLux platforms.  We an LJ78 SX, which is the long-wheelbase

1985-1996, Toyota Araco produced a lighter-duty version of the 70 and called it the Land Cruiser II, or Bundera, depending on the market.  the manufacturing location was the same as the 70 series trucks.  The Araco is renowned for quality and has produced the HD Cruisers for decades.  Araco is now by Toyota and is referred to as Toyota Body, located just of Toyota City in Japan.  70 series trucks and many of the 200 are built there.

There are a few key between the LJ78 Prado and HD 70 of the same era.
