Blizzard

I never knew these things, about the size as a samurai

I want thing bad. not mine, but if I had 15K to it just might be mine.

A in June. Yes! I am a Cruiserhead a barn full of 4WD Toyotas and is my absolute favorite: a 1982 Blizzard 2-door hardtop 4X4 diesel in original Toyota 886 10-digit VIN LD10004907. The first of the Blizzard, and EXTREMELY rare in the States—even more so in such condition and equipped like The last LD10 I could referenced in a search was from which stated there only three 1st-gen LD10 Blizzards in the entire States! This is not the ugly Blizzard (rebadged Daihatsu that started in 1984 is an original, first-gen LD10

The Blizzard is a not a true Land (it was closest I could find in the model list) although it has a designation of LD10/FJ22. It is a solid leaf sprung micro 4WD It is 10 feet long by 4 feet 6 wide! An FJ40 by comparison is long by 5.46′ wide. The can slip through the tightest and park just about on the street!

In an interesting note, for import to the market, all vehicles must with strict Aussie and each one actually receives an plate stating this. The has the original government plate date of manufacture (6/82), the VIN and This plate is affixed the approval of the Australian motor certification board. This was manufactured by Toyota Motor Co Ltd to with Australian design See photos!

It is powered by the rugged Toyota 2.2L 4-cylinder L engine with turbo This rig literally sips It gets around 32mpg in the and a bit more on the highway. The L diesel was in early 80’s American so parts are easily had at your Toyota dealer!

Has an aluminum 15-gallon second tank installed but not plumbed. it up and go 600+ miles between ups!

This Blizzard is the Deluxe version (still has badging on the truck, too) means the rig was optioned with and rear mud flaps, fender upgraded dash, locking cap, automatic glow warming system and more.

love that swept design. So unique!

New battery. She right up with minimal and runs beautifully. No oil leaks. is good and tight and functions as it 162,541 miles is only miles per year!

3 turbo The rig is peppy!

It has the superior 5-speed transmission that replaced the 4-speed and she sits on 65mph all A 2H/4H/4L transfer case 4WD duties.

Has 2 suspension lift and 1.5 lift.

Front disc and rear drums work

Factory Aisin hubs.

mud terrain tires ride on 15 wheels.

New windshield.

SAAS drivers seat.

The Blizzard is in good condition overall. is a little rust in hood and on of rain gutter left very small spots on of door frame—see photos. pans, body panels, are overall excellent, excepting surface rust and minor Paint is in very good Of course, the truck is not perfect. include the rust spots, scratches and scuffs on paint and out, t-case sometimes out of low (not 2H or 4H) only because the shifter boot sometimes scrunched up in the way, no radio, a door lock knob is no headliner, cracks in fender

The stainless steel snorkel is a of art.

Extremely rare factory Toyota Blizzard manual comes with the PLUS, a factory Toyota repair manual for the L/2L

The roof is like the FJ40, it upward for extra headroom. are mini-LED lights on the side and support rails which add a ton of lighting to the interior. Interior shelf above windshield can a CB/ham radio, maps, etc and has speaker cutouts.

Original carpet is in great condition and to the floorboards, a unique system. area has new all-weather carpet.

Air consists of opening that unique in-dash vent and letting in a blast of cool It works incredibly well!
