The King-Pin // Syogo Arai’s GS300

When it comes to VIP is no denying that Japan supreme when it comes to sedans.  The US is number one it comes to hot-rods and muscle countries in Europe like the UK, and Germany fight for the Euro-crown, and all are on Japan when it comes to all VIP.  Even in Japan there are those that at the top.  K-Break is a name is synonymous with VIP all over the and in Japan, the tuning house is a for the VIP community, hosting one of the largest events in the country as well as and supporting as many dress-up as they can.  Syogo is apart the K-Break family, and us his latest creation, a 2000 GS300.

No, I’m not confused, this a Toyota Aristo.  This is a real-deal, USDM Lexus that’s been imported to  Before this one, had a JZS160 Aristo that was wrecked in an auto-accident and totaled  Arai-san is a huge JZS160 and instead of getting another he decided to pull out all the stops and a GS from the states to build. the hassle though of getting a US GS to Japan?  I’ll let Arai-san “I want to show America, VIP is gaining much more nowadays, the greatness of OG Japanese VIP Also an American GS300 is rare so that was an added in getting one over here!” the car safely in Japan, it was straight to the where Arai-san and crew got to

Being a K-Break car, you can expect this to be a very car, and Arai-san and company delivered.  Every part of car has been modified, extensively. photos speak for themselves, but in VIP fashion there are certain that are so well done they are hard to spot, others jump out and smack you in the face.  To me, cars like are the epitome of the VIP culture, the cars you can call VIP cars, and not just cars.  If you want to take I can’t think of a better so get those notebooks out because is now in session…

With a car that’s so extensively we could start anywhere.  No one is better than the other, but I like most features, start outside and work our way in. exterior of this GS is one that I of a true VIP car which means it is a one-off.  I think the only that were originally for a GS are the hood and grille, which are items, the doors, and the tail  Everything else was customized to  The front bumper is a Kaira piece for a Toyota while the side-skirts are Wald Bison pieces for a W220 Benz.  The GT-style rear bumper is a combination of the OE GS and a Tommy Kaira GT86  The fenders?  Yep, one-offs with some vents to compliment the serious and radius all four panels  The fronts were 40mm and pulled 10mm the rears were raised and pulled out 30mm, but just a look at the detail photos to see how it was done.  Pure artwork.

Inside the car, the custom continues.  We’ve featured a few with some over-the-top and this GS is right up there.  As far as audio setups, the only one I can think of personally that up is Junpei Gato’s Celsior we featured earlier in the year. custom lighting, amplifiers, and dominate the space that previously occupied by the rear  Rockford Fosgate speakers, and amplifiers are the electronics of choice, and the seat display is the stunning finished in LED and acrylic lighting is becoming the new norm in Japan.
