Change your Toyota Premio’s transmission fluid to ease gears — Auto…

Change your Toyota Premio’s transmission fluid to ease gears Qn. I have a Toyota Premio automatic manufactured in 1996. The engine size is 1762cc. It has a mileage of 210,000. Some time back, it developed a problem of losing power especially when climbing and the light O/D off would keep flashing even when the button is not pressed. Suddenly, it would pick up again, then the problem disappears until I move for a long distance. I changed hydraulic oil and the problem stopped for a while and re-occured. Now the problem is gone again. What do you think could have led to this? Your automatic gearbox A breakdown in this part of the gearbox is indicated by the flashing overdrive OFF light. If ...

Testing the hype | Is the new(ish) Allion/Premio worth it?

Testing the hype Is the new(ish) Allion/Premio worth it? Aadnan Zaman This week on Shift, we look at two of the best selling cars in Dhaka city; two models which started pouring into our city about ten years ago and continue to outsell everything else in the market today. There are countless number of them all over, and you know plenty of people who has got one. My family has had a 2002 Allion as a daily driver for seven years, which was then replaced last year with a 2010 model. Its driven daily and used as a proper family car. The Allion and Premio were introduced to spiritually succeed Toyota’s long line of Carinas and Coronas. Now in its second generation after 2007, both the cars ...

Premio and Duet, which is best? — Auto — monitor.co.ug

Premio and Duet, which is best? I want to buy a car but I am undecided between a Toyota Premio and a Toyota Duet. Which one has an economical consumption of fuel? The 1999-2001 model year Toyota Duet comes with two engines — 1.3 litre and a 1.0 litre. The more economical Corona Premio of your choice might be the 1.8 litre. The fuel consumption of the 1.3 litre Duet on the highway is about 19 kms to the litre while that of the smaller 1.0 litre Duet is 16 kms to the litre. Interestingly the Premio with a 1.8 litre engine which delivers 160 horsepower has a fuel consumption of 15.38 kms to the litre. Premio’s economy is close to that of the smaller and less powerful Duet 1.0 litre engine ...

The D4 Toyota engine

The D4 Toyota engine Friday, 01 March 2013 08:24 By Motoring Guru Why has it gotten such a bad reputation? Of course there is now the VVT-i D4, the latest mass extension of the `Direct Injection’ engine technology. VVT-i D4 is an upgrade of Toyota’s award-winning Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) engine. But that is a discussion for another day. Today, we are prompted to discuss an engine-type that has attracted a little bit of flak on the street; the D4 engine. Is it really as crappy as some car brokers and street vehicle mechanics claim? Specifications of the Toyota Premio — doorstop

doorstop Specifications of the Toyota Premio In 2001, Toyota’s representative passenger car that had been serving the world for more than four decades bowed out of the industry. 2012 specifications don’t differ much from the first model release, so in this article we’ll be looking at the Premio specs as it was introduced to the world as the Corona’s successor. It was the Corona’s time to retire and make way for the new breed of sedans. Taking the Corona’s place is the Toyota Premio. The Premio name is derived form the Spanish word for prize or premium—and it shows in the vehicle’s styling both inside and out. The four-door, five-seater sedan has a long 2700mm wheelbase, the ...

Toyota Premio | Catalog-cars

Toyota Premio is the full-size car produced by a company Toyota in December, 2001 to the general platform with a car Toyota Allion. Cars came on changing also to the very near models of Corona/Carina, and, strictly speaking, they would reserve the former names. However, on some, think, cleanly to technical reasons, all was decided to begin with a clean sheet, and up the old names to give. More precisely it will be to say, give up practice of the double name of machines of model row of Corona/Carina, and do before being considered the auxiliary names basic. So in a motor-car park Toyota the new appeared on the name, but inheriting old model row of Premio/Allion. Cars are equipped by 4-cylinder ...

A review of my Toyota Premio (ex-Japan) A review of my Toyota Premio (ex-Japan) Disclaimer This is my first ever thread on TBHP. While I have taken every effort to put up a report that does justice to a beautiful vehicle, it’s natural to have fallen back on a number of areas, especially technical, as I am no expert.
